Masters of the Universe: Revolution is coming to Netflix to continue Kevin Smith’s reboot sequel to the 80s cartoon series He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. Announced as part of Netflix’s Geeked Week, the new animated series will pick up from the events of Masters of the Universe: Revelation. According to the sparse details released by Netflix, the series will bring the action back to the age-old battle of good and evil between He-Man and Skeletor....

The Netflix original series, Lilyhammer, the comedic drama starring Steve Van Zandt (The Sopranos, The E Street Band) as a mob fixer who enters the witness protection program in Lillehammer, Norway, will return exclusively to Netflix for Season 3 in 2014. The series’ eight episode second season debuted in December in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Ireland, Latin America, Denmark and the Netherlands. Super Mario Bros. is perhaps the most well-known video game franchise of all time, and Nintendo is now branching the IP out into a theme park. Variety reports some new details about the park, which aims to fully immerse players in the Mushroom Kingdom when it opens on February 17th, 2023 at Universal Studios Hollywood. That’s coming just ahead of The Super Mario Bros. Movie hitting theaters on April 7th, 2023....

The wait for Rick and Morty season 3 is almost over. It was announced a couple of weeks ago by creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland that the long-awaited third season of Rick and Morty is finally going to arrive on July 30. But what to do until then? It seems that one of the most anticipated sequels will finally get started later next year. Comics2Film recently spoke with producer Stephen L’Hereux, who revealed that Sin City 2 would go before cameras in the second half 2010. L’Hereux said that the film would be based off an original script by Frank Miller, who would co-direct alongside Robert Rodriguez, as he did in the first Sin City. The producer also spoke about another Frank Miller adaptation, Hard Boiled, but it seems that film is much farther down the road....

Dubbed Pamela, a love story, the film provides a thorough look into the career and personal life of the Baywatch star, addressing situations she’s never publicly spoken about up to now. Nickelodeon and Paramount+ have unveiled our first look at Timmy Turner in Fairly OddParents: Fairly Odder. Serving as a sequel series to the classic Fairly OddParents cartoon, the show jumps ahead in time with young Timmy now in high school. Caleb Pierce stars as the live-action Timmy, but as seen in the first look photo, the titular OddParents have remained animated. A trailer has also been released, which you can watch below....

The Mandalorian has been a massive success ever since the release of season one in 2019. Pedro Pascal plays Din Djarin, or Mando, the battle-hardened Mandalorian tasked with protecting Grogu. Over the past two seasons, we have tagged along as Mando narrowly escapes harm, blasts enemies, and even meets Luke Skywalker himself. Queen Latifah is in negotiations to join Diane Keaton in the cast of Mad Money, a remake of the British comedy Hot Money , according to Production Weekly. The film is described as a low-tech, female version of Ocean’s Eleven. Another filmmaker has won a battle against the Motion Picture Association of America, and that filmmaker is Max Payne director John Moore. Moore recently spoke to Game Daily and revealed that he won his appeal with the MPAA, and Max Payne was granted a PG-13 rating, instead of the initial R rating it was granted last month. We originally reported that Max Payne received an R rating earlier this month, and Moore was none too happy about it, saying that the MPAA “really hung themselves” in giving The Dark Knight a PG-13 rating....

Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures and Exodus Film Group announced today that Bunyan & Babe, Exodus’ new animated feature film, will be distributed in North America by MGM. The announcement was made by Exodus CEO, John Eraklis and Erik Lomis, President, Worldwide Theatrical Distribution, Home Entertainment & Acquisitions for MGM. Bunyan & Babe is a modern take on the folk story of legendary lumberjack Paul Bunyan (John Goodman) and his sidekick, Babe the Blue Ox, who work with two adventurous kids to rescue their town from the evil clutches of a demented property developer (Kelsey Grammer)....
