In a story from Home Media Retailing, it seems “nearly two-thirds of PlayStation Portable owners own UMDs. More than two-fifths said the ability to watch movies or TV content on their PSPs was a very important factor in their decision to purchase the device” says a study from The NPD Group....

Punisher: War Zone is an amazing movie to behold. Its as violent as last January’s Rambo and possibly the funniest comic book adaptation to hit the screen in sometime. Riverdale’s seventh season will be its final, TVLine has reported. It is the latest series cancelation from the network, joining Legends of Tomorrow, Batwoman, Naomi, Legacies, Dynasty, Charmed, Roswell, New Mexico, In The Dark, and 4400. Riverdale stars KJ Apa as Archie Andrews, Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper, Camila Mendes as Veronica Lodge, and Cole Sprouse as Jughead Jones, the series narrator. The show was renewed for its final season this past March....

According to Variety, Matt Groening wants the stars and co-writers of British sketch show Little Britain – shown in the U.S. on BBC America – to be in an episode of The Simpsons. “Matt Lucas and David Walliams are like living cartoons anyway,” Groening said. If the Little Britain comics do sign up for The Simpsons, they will be following the path beaten by another Brit comedic talent, Ricky Gervais, star and co-creator of The Office and “Extras....

According to Variety, Magnolia Pictures has picked up the U.S. rights to Andrew Jarecki’s All Good Things. The film stars Ryan Gosling, Kirsten Dunst and Frank Langella. It will be released theatrically in December. All Good Things is inspired by the story of Robert Durst. He was the “scion of the Durst family and a suspect who was never tried for killing his wife Kathie after she disappeared in 1982 and was never found....

Production is currently under way on Warner Bros.’ Man of Steel, with shooting slated to wrap in early 2012. Even though we are over a year and a half away from Man of Steel’s June 14, 2013 release date, the studio is already thinking about a sequel. Screenwriters Steve Kloves (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2, Akira), Travis Beacham (Pacific Rim, Clash of the Titans), and Lawrence Kasdan (Paradise Lost, Darling Companion) are all considered front runners to write the Man of Steel sequel script....
