While we have still to see Iman Vellani make her Marvel debut as the title character in the Disney+ series Ms. Marvel, new images from the set of The Marvels has revealed a new costume from the young superhero. Vellani will appear as Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel in the upcoming Disney+ series next year before joining forces with Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel and Teyonah Parris’ Monica Rambeau for the movie formerly known as Captain Marvel 2, and while there is not too much known about the series or the movie so far, the new image is a clear look at one of the suits Ms....

The Get Down, a new Netflix Original Series, from visionary director Baz Luhrmann, will premiere exclusively on Netflix in all territories in 2016. The series marks Luhrmann’s first music-driven drama since the global hit Moulin Rouge. The one-hour, 13-episode drama from Sony Pictures Television will focus on 1970s New York City - broken down and beaten up, violent, cash strapped – dying. Consigned to rubble, a rag-tag crew of South Bronx teenagers are nothings and nobodies with no one to shelter them - except each other, armed only with verbal games, improvised dance steps, some magic markers and spray cans....

Netflix’s Firefly Lane is back for a second and final season. The series follows two childhood friends in their adult lives, with flashbacks to their life as teens in the 1970s and the early days of their careers. Tully (Katherine Heigl) and Kate (Sarah Chalke) have been through everything together, so what causes them to fall apart? Audiences will find out this season. Variety confirmed that the series was renewed for a second season in May 2021....

Starting with The Witcher season 2, the production had been set up in the U.K., making it the first production based in the country to be affected by the coronavirus situation. The cast and crew will continue to be paid during the break. It comes just after Netflix decided to halt all productions in the U.S. and Canda as well, including Stranger Things season 4. Warner Bros. Television and DC Entertainment today announced that Gotham executive producers John Stephens and Danny Cannon will explore the world of Metropolis in an all-new live-action drama series to air exclusively on the upcoming DC-branded direct-to-consumer digital service, operated by Warner Bros. Digital Networks. Metropolis has received a direct-to-series order for a first season of 13 episodes and will go into production later this year for a debut on the service in 2019....

We don’t know when it’s coming, but we now know what to look for when the big green one hits the DVD shelves. DVD Town has posted some official DVD artwork images for The Incredible Hulk. Along with the Blu-Ray release, which cover art was not available for, the film will be released in a single-disc widescreen edition and a three-disc special edition. Showtime has released the first trailer for Season 2 of Penny Dreadful, which doesn’t include any footage, but does tease a blood-soaked scorpion along with Vanessa Ives (Eva Green) discussing how the past may return to haunt all of these characters. The network handed out a renewal back in June, which will be expanded from eight episodes in Season 1 to 10 episodes in Season 2. Production is currently under way in Dublin, Ireland on the second season....

Hey There Delilah, the hit song by The Plain White T’s, is set to be turned into a TV series. The band is working with Lively McCabe Entertainment and Primary Wave to develop a romantic comedy based on the number-one hit from 2006. Frontman and songwriter Tom Higgenson is on board as a producer, alongside Jeremy Desmon, who is also set to pen the series. They are soon heading to Los Angeles to pitch the potential series, which is described as a “contemporary fairy tale that expands the story within the song....

When it was announced that Sienna Miller had been cast as the Baroness in Stephen Sommer’s G.I. Joe, it provoked a good deal of interest from fans of the franchise. Today, /Film has announced that Ray Park has been cast as Snake Eyes in the upcoming film adaptation of the cartoon from the 1980’s. The reboot of The Munsters from director Rob Zombie now has its home. Previously, there had been rumors that the movie would be given a day-and-date release, and that was followed by additional rumors that Netflix was in talks to acquire the exclusive rights to the reboot. Zombie has confirmed that the latter is true with a post on Instagram announcing that The Munsters hits Netflix this fall where it will join Wednesday, a reboot of The Addams Family from director Tim Burton....
