I’m really rather amazed that I got the opportunity to watch this in the first place. Fewer copies of Season Two were released than Season One, and quite possibly with good reason. Famed filmmaker Martin Scorsese and frequent collaborator Paul Schrader are developing a multi-year series about the origins of Christianity. Better Call Saul favorite Michael Mando has picked up his next starring role in a series with his casting in the Apple TV+ crime drama show Sinking Spring, per Deadline. The show, which comes from director Ridley Scott (Alien, Blade Runner) and writer Peter Craig (Top Gun: Maverick), is based on the book Dope Thief, Sinking Spring by Dennis Tafoya. Craig created the series and will direct one episode. Sinking Spring will feature Mando in a lead role opposite Brian Tyree Henry (Atlanta), whose casting was announced in August....

Horror fans won’t have to worry about a new 3-D film being family friendly. According to Bloody-Disgusting, My Bloody Valentine 3-D has been given a hard R rating by the Motion Picture Association of America. The MPAA listed, “graphic, brutal horror violence and grizzly images throughout, some strong sexuality, graphic nudity and language” as the reasoning for the R rating. NBC has picked up a new drama project from actor Jamie Foxx entitled Tommy’s Little Girl, which is described as a cross between La Femme Nikita and The Sopranos. Deadline reports that the project was acquired based off the strength of a trailer that Foxx shot with Selma Blair, Paul Sorvino, Tony Sirico and James Russo. The story centers on Selma Blair’s character, who was raised by a mafia family and forced into hiding at an orphanage after a rival mob slaughters her entire family....

NBC will air a three-hour live special on Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015 in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the iconic franchise Saturday Night Live.
