Channing Tatum will dance his way back into theaters for the release of Magic Mike’s Last Dance. The third installment of the Magic Mike movie series, the film was originally slated for a streaming release on HBO Max. Switching gears, Warner Bros. has now moved over the film from the streaming platform to movie theaters by scheduling Magic Mike’s Last Dance for a theatrical release on Feb. 10, 2023, which just so happens to be Super Bowl weekend....

Mark Hamill is up for playing Vesemir in season 2 of The Witcher on Netflix, even if he’s not quite sure who the character is. In a Twitter exchange from last year that recently resurfaced on Reddit, The Witcher showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich wrote about how the Vesemir character should be portrayed, describing him as fatherly, wise, sprightly, and ancient. When the Club Star Wars Twitter account responded by suggesting Hamill for the role, Hamill himself backed this up by offering this amusing reply....

Three decades after its premiere, the cast of Martin is getting back together to discuss the popular sitcom’s enduring legacy for a 30th anniversary reunion special. Planned as a BET+ exclusive, the special is hosted by comedian and actor Affion Crockett and includes original cast members Martin Lawrence (“Martin”), Tisha Campbell (“Gina”), Tichina Arnold (“Pamela”), and Carl Anthony Payne II (“Cole”), along with surprise guest appearances. Marvel Studios used Comic-Con to outline its next three phases for audiences. In 2019, Kevin Feige revealed the Phase 4 slate of films and Disney+ superhero shows, announcing more just a few months later at D23. The COVID-19 pandemic ended up delaying and shifting release dates out of order, and with no Avengers film announced many audience members were left sensing an aimless direction for the franchise over Phase 4, not knowing where it would build to....

Michelle Forbes, who earned an Emmy nomination as grieving mother Mitch Larson on The Killing Season 1, is confirmed to return to AMC’s hit drama as a series regular in The Killing Season 2. New episodes of The Killing begin shooting this Tuesday, November 29th, with production continuing through December. When the series returns next year, fans will be introduced to two new characters. MTV and Sonar Entertainment have announced a development deal to adapt Terry Brooks’ international best-selling fantasy novels Shannara for the small screen. Jon Favreau will direct and executive produce and Alfred Gough and Miles Millar (Smallville, Spider-Man 2) will write and executive produce if the project goes to series. Terry Brooks and Dan Farah will also serve as executive producers. President of MTV Programming Susanne Daniels had this to say in a statement....

There’s a new project coming from Sesame Workshop, and this one is heading back to the barn. The classic children’s book, Charlotte’s Web by E. B. White, gains another adaptation from HBO Max. Luke Matheny will serve as head writer and executive producer. Luke Matheny has been busy. His most well-known work is the Apple TV+ series Ghostwriter, which he writes, directs, and executive produces. Sesame Workshop will begin production of the animated mini-series next month....
