The Wagner/Cuban Companies’ Magnet Releasing, genre arm of Magnolia Pictures, announced today that it has acquired U.S. rights to Centurion, an epic sword and sandal thrill ride from cult-favorite filmmaker Neil Marshall (The Descent), starring Michael Fassbender (Inglourious Basterds, 300), Dominic West (300, The Wire), David Morrissey (Red Riding Trilogy) and Olga Kurylenko (Quantum of Solace). In a story for the Hollywood Reporter, Paramount Home Entertainment is expected to announce today that it will release Mission: Impossible III on DVD, HD-DVD and Blu-ray Disc all on October 30. Paramount Pictures has announced a special single night triple-feature of all three Paranormal Activity films back-to-back, only at Regal Cinemas. The films will be played in chronological order, beginning with the most recent Paranormal Activity 3, followed by Paranormal Activity and finishing with Paranormal Activity 2.
