Everyone has their opinons on the way Game of Thrones ended, and series star Peter Dinklage is not as critical as others. For the majority of the show’s life, Game of Thrones was one of the most popular programs on television, consistently garnering widespread acclaim and major awards. Things took a turn when season 8 aired on HBO, and the way the series ended sparked backlash from fans feeling like they’d been let down....

At The Lovely Bones London Royal gala premiere, writer/director Peter Jackson talked to the UK’s press about the latest status of The Hobbit films and The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn. He confirmed that the script from the first Hobbit film, which will be directed by Guillermo del Toro, has been completed and turned over to the studio. Jackson also said he had been scouting for locations in New Zealand immediately before travelling to London....

Disney’s live-action remake of the 1940 classic Pinocchio arrived as part of Disney+ Day’s new arrivals on the platform. Like many of Disney’s recent movies, Pinocchio is a visually updated retread of one of their original animated movies from their long history, but also in line with movies such as The Lion King, the film has been slammed as lifeless by critics and audiences. Starring Tom Hanks and Cynthia Erivo and the voice talents of Keegan-Michael Key, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, among others, and directed by the legendary Robert Zemeckis, it is easy to expect a lot from the movie, but it seems once again the flashy modern visuals just can’t match the heart and soul of the 80-year-old original....

Prince Andrew is the subject of an upcoming documentary that will explore his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. Ahead of its October 5 premiere, Peacock has released a first look trailer for Prince Andrew: Banished. The second son of Queen Elizabeth II, Andrew’s notoriety grew after sexual abuse claims and his connections to Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell were made public. The 90-minute documentary will feature interviews with those with in-depth knowledge of the situation....

Rainn Wilson was everyone’s favorite paper salesman when he starred on NBC’s The Office for nine seasons. During his time in the series, he appeared as Recyclops, a superhero celebrating Earth Day and promoting climate change awareness. Now, the actor is taking his obligations off-screen as he’s changed his name to Rainnfall Heatwave Extreme Winter Wilson. The actor has been vocal about climate change and going green in the past and recently took to Twitter to explain the motivations behind his name change....

Which is what will be happening out at a psychology professor’s vacation home, way out in predictably enough the middle of nowhere....

A Reno 911! revival is in the early stages of becoming a reality, according to Wendi McLendon-Covey. There has been talk of bringing back the Reno Sheriff’s Department for the past year or so, but mostly we’ve heard that a new movie could be on the horizon. This, however, is really the first we’ve heard of bringing back the actual series. But, according to at least one of the show’s stars, it’s being discussed....

Lionsgate, the leading independent filmed entertainment company, today announced the studio’s upcoming slate of titles on the next-generation high-definition Blu-ray Disc (BD). Headlining the announcement is one of the format’s first-ever TV DVD releases as the Golden Globe®- winning and Emmy® Award nominated series Weeds will be offered in high definition. In addition, Lionsgate will deliver (BD) versions of the top-selling Marvel Animated Series titles Ultimate Avengers and Ultimate Avengers 2....

As part of a new two-year production deal with the Canadian province of Alberta and the city of Edmonton, Lionsgate, the leading independent filmed entertainment studio, will begin pre-production in December on its new horror-anthology series Fear Itself. The announcement was made today by Kevin Beggs, Lionsgate’s President of Television Programming and Production. Produced by Lionsgate and Industry Entertainment, the series was picked up last week by NBC for 13 one-hour episodes to air in Summer 2008....

The director returns to form with an all-star cast Martin Scorsese goes gangster again in The Departed. The auteur returns to form with a visceral adaptation of the Hong Kong classic, Infernal Affairs. The plot moves to Boston, where two undercover Irish cops engage in a dangerous game of cat and mouse. The film has an all-star cast with Scorsese favorite Leonardo DiCaprio in the lead and Matt Damon, Jack Nicholson, and Mark Wahlberg supporting....

Uatu the Watcher has been revealed in a first-look at Marvel’s What If…? series. Disney+ just launched earlier this week and fans are already looking forward to Marvel Studios’ upcoming shows. Kevin Feige revealed over the summer that there is going to be a lot more of the Marvel Cinematic Universe than ever before, thanks to these upcoming series. The What If…? series is only one of a pretty decently sized handful of new entertainment preparing to hit the small screen....

The Disney Channel announced today that Mickey Mouse is returning with a brand new series of animated shorts, aimed towards modern-day audiences. This Mickey Mouse series of 19 animated installments will debut Friday, June 28th on The Disney Channel, Disney.com, WATCH Disney Channel, and other online platforms. The network has released a video preview of the first short entitled Croissant de Triomphe, which you can check out below. The shorts will be produced in 2D animation and will attempt to merge “classic comedy” with a “contemporary flair,” which will also pay homage to Walt Disney’s storytelling and art direction from the 1920s and 1930s....
