I have been a huge fan of actor Bruce Greenwood for years. He is one of the finest actors we have working today. I first took notice of him in the Cuban missile-crisis film “Thirteen Days”, where he brilliantly played President John F. Kennedy and in my mind created the quintessential portrayal of the late president. Since then Greenwood has appeared in a wide array of movies including dramas like “Capote” and the loosely based Bob Dylan biopic “I’m Not There,” as well as the recently released comedy “Dinner For Schmucks” and “National Treasure: Book of Secrets”, where he once again portrayed a US President....

Yesterday, the new trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man was released, giving us our second look at this 3D adventure since the teaser trailer debuted back in July. New Line Cinema has purchased Melissa McCarthy’s screenplay Tammy, a comedy which she will also executive produce and possibly star in. The story centers around the title character, a woman who loses her job at Hardees and then finds out her husband is cheating on her. Michael Keaton’s Batman is back on the set of Batgirl. Currently, principal photography is underway on the upcoming HBO Max movie starring Leslie Grace as Barbara Gordon. It’s well known at this point that Keaton will first return as his version of the Dark Knight in the upcoming superhero movie The Flash, and it’s since been reported he’d also be appearing in Batgirl as well. Images taken from the set shared to social media provide the first sneak peek at Keaton’s return in the Batsuit....

Constantine, the new NBC series based on DC Comics and Vertigo’s popular Hellblazer series, has rounded out its main cast, adding three actors to star opposite Matt Ryan, who takes on the title role of John Constantine. First up is True Blood’s Lucy Griffiths as the female lead Liv, the daughter of John’s late friend who is targeted by a demon. She is described as an offbeat young woman who discovers that she can see the supernatural world that surrounds our every day lives....

The trailer kicks off with the country searching high and low for Billy Butcher and his associates. The Supes, meanwhile, are none too happy with them and are on a quest for vengeance, out to prove that the world still needs superheroes. The footage is action-packed, violent and most definitely of the R-rated variety. Plus, it’s all set to the tone of We Didn’t Start the Fire by Billy Joel. Those concerned that the creative team was going to tone things down in season 2 quite obviously have nothing to worry about....

First off, the following news item came from a section of the The Digital Bits called “The Rumor Mill,” however the information seems pretty legitimate. In a story from The Digital Bits, it appears that Lucasfilm has an “ultimate, 6-film Star Wars anniversary DVD box set planned for 2007.” While nothing is known yet about the bonus features, it seems that there will be more changes made to the films, deleted scenes and probably a host of featurettes....

America’s dancing dynamo and former *NSYNC star Joey Fatone (Dancing with the Stars) hosts NBC’s ultimate sing-along variety game show The Singing Bee, which is set to premiere on Tuesday, July 10 (9:30-10 p.m. ET) following the 90-minute “Las Vegas Callbacks” episode of summer’s #1 hit America’s Got Talent (8-9:30 p.m. ET). Hey, folx, the world’s not going to end. Dan Harmon is getting to make his movie. Since 2014, fans of the series Community have been awaiting the fabled “six seasons and a movie.” A week ago, that dream finally became a reality. On September 30, 2022, NBCUniversal-owned streamer Peacock announced that it had ordered a Community movie after series creator Dan Harmon won the rights in a “competitive situation.” Today, Friday, October 7, 2022, during the ‘Dan Harmon Presents Krapopolis’ panel at New York Comic Con 2022, Harmon revealed some more details about the upcoming Community: The Movie....

Over the summer it was finally confirmed that Ewan McGregor will return as Obi-Wan Kenobi in a new show for the Disney+ streaming service.
