Netflix has been on a roll this year, picking up unique concepts on a regular basis, and this time we have an incredible journey starring Jason Momoa. Slumberland, a fantasy adventure film based on Winsor McCay’s comic strip “Little Nemo in Slumberland,” is coming to Netflix this November and will take fans on a beautiful adventure. The film stars Jason Momoa in an unlikely role as Flip (a silly, lovable clown who constantly gets in trouble), Marlow Barkley as a little girl who desperately seeks her father, and Chris O’Dowd, Kyle Chandler, and Weruche Opia as supporting characters....

After almost three years of waiting, fans of The Dragon Prince finally have a light at the end of the tunnel. The official Dragon Prince Twitter account dropped the teaser for the upcoming season 4, titled The Dragon Prince: Mystery of Aaravos. The teaser can be seen below! A view of the night sky, Viren reaching for the heavens before turning to stone, a hand coming down to grasp him, and the camera cuts back to reveal Aaravos holding the tiny model in his library-like prison, a smile on his face....

Earlier this month, we reported that director Darren Aronofsky will make Noah his next project. At the time, he was shopping the movie out to distributors, and now it has found a home at Paramount Pictures. Both Paramount and 20th Century Fox were vying for the distribution rights in a bidding war, with Paramount ultimately prevailing. Paramount will team up with New Regency to co-finance and co-distribute Noah, which will reportedly be made on a $130 million budget....

Pat Sajak isn’t putting up with people insulting his Wheel of Fortune contestants. This week, an episode of the popular game show featured a moment where three contestants took a combined 10 attempts to solve a puzzle. Missing just four letters, the puzzle in question read, “Another feather _n yo_r a.” One contestant incorrectly guesed “hat,” “lap,” and “map” as the final word, missing the real answer three times in a row....

In what seems to be an annual event, Pauly Shore has once again let the powers that be at Disney know that he is still very ready to reprise his role in an Encino Man sequel. He is certain Brendan Fraser and Sean Astin would both be on board if the script was right, and the fans want it. For almost a decade, Shore has been pitching the idea of a sequel, and has ramped up thoughts of Encino Man 2 in the last few years now that Disney+ is a thing....

Nine years after Meg, Steve Alten’s tale of an 80-foot-long prehistoric shark, hit Hollywood, the project is still waiting to be made, according to Variety. While Alten has already published two book sequels, the original film property has stalled, first at Disney and more recently at New Line. Like many would-be tentpoles, the movie fell victim to escalating costs as well as New Line’s focus on other pricey films. New Line picked up the rights last year and put the movie on the fast track for a 2006 release....

USA has announced that its long running psychic detective comedy Psych will be coming to an end this season. The finale will air on March 26th and will be followed by a one hour live after show featuring a Q&A with the cast and show creator, Steve Franks. The next big project for rapper and actor 50 Cent will not come in the form of a song or movie but an upcoming investigative series, Hip Hop Homicides, which will premiere November 3 at 9 P.M. ET/PT on WEtv. According to HipHopDX, the show is being billed as an investigative series produced by 50 Cent and Mona Scott-Young. The show will be hosted by former TMZ personality and journalist Van Lathan and will showcase the evidence, highlight eyewitness testimonies, and analyze conspiracy theories....

Oscilloscope Laboratories has unleashed the first domestic trailer for director Jalmari Helander’s clever and scary Norwegian holiday thriller Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale. The plot follows an archeological dig that unearths Santa Claus, and then tries to sell the dangerous being for profit. Anchor Bay Entertainment resurrects some fairly choice horror movie with Superstition, one among several in what looks like a long-term program for them. So what we have here plotwise is an alcoholic priest and his family moving into a house on Mill Road. The house has something of an unpleasant history to say the least, and not too far from the house, a witch was drowned. Another priest, meanwhile, is staging an investigation into the house along with a cynical police detective–ostensibly because priests generally can’t get search warrants....

Netflix has cast Renee Zellweger in her first major television role in the new anthology series What / If. The show is a social thriller drama series from Revenge creator Mike Kelly along with producer Robert Zemeckis. What / If explores the ripple effects of what happens when acceptable people start doing unacceptable things. Each season will tackle a different morality tale inspired by culturally consequential source material, and the power of a single fateful decision to change the trajectory of an entire life....

Hulu has released the official teaser for upcoming drama series Reprisal from the executive producer of The Handmaid’s Tale. The series stars Abigail Spencer, Rodrigo Santoro, Mena Massoud, Rhys Wakefield, Madison Davenport, Gilbert Owuor, David Dastmalchian, W. Earl Brown, Craig Tate, Wavyy Jonez, Shane Callahan, and Rory Cochrane. Longmire, based on the popular novel series from best-selling author Craig Johnson, made its small screen debut this past Sunday, June 3rd, on A&E with the Season 1 premier, and returns with the all-new Episode 1.02: A Dame Shame this Sunday, June 10th. After a very long wait due to the worldwide lockdown, American Horror Story co-creator Ryan Murphy has revealed our first look at franchise newcomer Macaulay Culkin in season 10. The title for the tenth season has yet to be revealed, but as with previous seasons of the horror anthology series, it will follow a new story with a cast of characters consisting of both returning favorites along with new stars like Culkin....

An extra on the set of Madam Secretary caused a brawl at the craft services table. The political drama stars Tea Leoni and was shooting in Whippany, New Jersey when the fight broke out late last week. There were several hundred extras on the set because they were shooting an outdoor speech scene where Leoni’s character addresses the crowd. While there were several hundred extra actors on the set, the fight was only between one extra and two craft service workers....

We reported last month that the new Joaquin Phoenix documentary (or mockumentary?) had been finished and was being shopped around to potential buyers. Now it seems that a buyer has been found. The Los Angeles Times is reporting that Magnolia Pictures is in final negotiations to distribute I’m Still Here: The Lost Year of Joaquin Phoenix. It was said that they are aiming to release the film, which was directed by Casey Affleck, in the fall....

Malcolm in the Middle originally ran on the Fox channel for seven seasons.
