Currently, DiLiegro can be seen in Prey as the Predator prequel is now streaming on Hulu. While previous Predator movies have taken a pummeling by critics, the response to Prey has been largely positive with a 92% score at Rotten Tomatoes....

While Netflix has not yet officially put in the order for a Red Notice sequel, director Rawson Marshall Thurber believes the best course of action would be to turn the story into a trilogy by shooting the next two installments back to back. Relativity Media has announced its completion of a deal securing domestic rights to the film, The Untitled David R. Ellis 3D Shark Thriller (previously titled Shark Night 3D), from Sierra Pictures and partner Incentive Filmed Entertainment. The studio plans for a wide release of the film in 2011. The film is currently in post-production, with the partners planning for a new title to the film and a specific release date, both to be announced shortly....

Lionsgate and Apple today announced that movies from Lionsgate will be available for purchase and download on the iTunes Store (www.itunes.com) starting today. iTunes customers will be able to purchase blockbuster Lionsgate films like Terminator 2: Judgement Day, LA Story, Basic Instinct, The Blair Witch Project and Dirty Dancing and more than 150 titles coming to iTunes this month. The iTunes Store has become the world’s most popular online movie store, with a catalog of over 400 titles....

Veteran actress Liz Sheridan has passed away. Sheridan, who is perhaps best known for playing Jerry’s mom on the comedy series Seinfeld, died on Friday, as reported by Variety. Her Seinfeld co-star, Jerry Seinfeld, has also spoken out about the sad news, expressing his sorrow over the loss of the 93-year-old. An on-screen veteran, Sheridan is closely associated with Seinfeld as a fixture on the series who had appeared in all nine seasons....

It seems some retail promotions caused an animated hit to conquer the DVD charts once again. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa returned to the top of the DVD sales charts, for the week ending April 12. It was the title’s third time atop the sales charts since it’s initial release 10 weeks ago, taking advantage of pricing promotions from numerous retailers. Family fare continued to dominate the sales charts, with new release Bedtime Stories coming in second place on the sales charts and the animated hit Bolt in third place after four weeks on the shelves....

We already know that Game of Thrones season 8 isn’t coming back until 2019, which is a bummer for many fans of the hit HBO fantasy series. Some new details of the behind-the-scenes drama from NCIS is now coming to light, as a new report claims star Mark Harmon “body-checked” actress Pauley Perrette on the set. Perrette herself also now cites this as the reason why she will never return to the series in a recent tweet, saying she is still feeling the trauma from the 2017 event. “I am terrified of Harmon and him attacking me. I have nightmares about it,” says Perrette....

The ’90s brought with them the golden age for Black sitcoms, including but not limited to The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, A Different World, and Martin. In fact, Martin was so popular that when it aired, it drew traffic away from NBC’s powerhouse Thursday night lineup to Fox. Fans of the Marvel comic book character Captain America will want to make sure that they don’t miss the new Marvel film Iron Man 2, opening on May 7th, as something long associated with the hero makes a brief appearance. According to Variety, Melina Kanakaredes will be leaving CBS’ CSI: NY. The actress won’t be a part of the show’s upcoming seventh season. Melina Kanakaredes starred on CSI: NY for all six seasons of the show. Her contract is up and the actress wanted to take a break and spend more time with her family. “We hoped Melina would return to CSI: NY for another season, but we respect her decision to move on,” CBS and CBS TV Studios stated in a joint statement....

Revitalized by the recent reinvigoration of its motion picture distribution and marketing organization as well as by the formation of its New Media division, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. (MGM) continues along its evolutionary path, controlling its library. To that end, MGM will be reestablishing its worldwide television distribution efforts, by bringing the business back in-house. Similarly, the studio will no longer divide its home entertainment releases between Sony Pictures Entertainment and 20th Century Fox home entertainment divisions, but will instead consolidate its home entertainment business with Fox....

Actor and soon-to-be-director Michael B. Jordan cannot wait to go toe-to-toe with Jonathan Majors in the upcoming sports drama sequel, Creed 3. In a discussion with Variety, Jordan has hyped Majors’ performance as the movie’s antagonist, describing himself and the star of Netflix hit The Harder They Fall as a “match made in heaven.” The newest addition to the Rocky saga, Creed, was released back in 2015, and continues the Sylvester Stallone-led franchise from a whole new perspective....
