Netflix has released the first trailer for the documentary, which spans from late 2006 until his loss to incumbent Barack Obama last year. As part of its content partnership with Sony Pictures, MTV promoted and premiered the trailer for the Spider-Man 3 video game from Activision and saw ratings jump 29%, according to The Hollywood Reporter. For Fox’s Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, MTV will use a different strategy to promote that film. On Pimp My Ride, tuner experts will transform a viewer’s car into a Silver Surfer-themed vehicle complete with a built-in plasma screen and an Xbox 360....

According to Reuters, NBC has reached a deal with The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien host Conan O’Brien to leave the show with Jay Leno to resume hosting duties on March 1. While NBC wouldn’t reveal details on the deal, but two sources close to the deal said that O’Brien would receive $32.5 million and his staff would receive $12 million. O’Brien will end his run on Friday and will be “free to pursue other opportunities after September 1....

Paris Hilton is currently being wooed by NBC to appear on her own primetime special. According to Variety, Paris might be doing her first post-prison interview with the network. As of late Thursday, the two parties could not come to an agreement, though they are still working on a deal. It was unclear whether the deal includes just a straightforward interview, or if it would be a full-blown investigative look at Hilton’s time spent in jail....
