Deadline New York is reporting that the Paul Haggis script Honeymoon With Harry might be getting made with Robert De Niro and Bradley Cooper starring. It also looks like Jonathan Demme could be directing. Two weeks ago De Niro and Cooper did a read through of the roles. This script has seen many production stops and starts for the past 6 years. One of it’s problems appears to be not being able to fit into the “comedy” or “drama” genres....

Little House on the Prairie is the latest classic television series to get the reboot treatment. According to reports, a new take on the historical Western drama is now in the works from Paramount Television Studios, Anonymous Content, and Friendly Family Productions. Trip Friendly is also reportedly on board to serve as an executive producer after his father, Ed, previously purchased the TV and movie rights to the original bestselling novels by Laura Ingalls Wilder....

Indian and American filmmaker and actor M. Night Shyamalan has become well-known for crafting films that feature twists and unexpected endings. The moviemaker initially gained acclaim following the release of his well-received 1999 movie, The Sixth Sense. Since then, Shyamalan has continued to delight audiences with unforeseen details and shocking conclusions in films like The Visit and Split. Mariel Hemingway has captured film and TV rights to her late grandfather Ernest Hemingway’s memoir A Moveable Feast and plans to make a bigscreen adaptation. According to Variety, Hemingway has teamed with John Goldstone to produce. They will begin shopping the project immediately. Mariel Hemingway is the granddaughter of the author and his first wife, Elizabeth Hadley Richardson, whose marital breakup is described in vivid detail in the memoir. A Moveable Feast, published posthumously to critical acclaim in 1964, covered the author’s years as a young man in post-WWI Paris in the 1920s....

You can bring home the critically acclaimed directorial debut of Duncan Jones on DVD and Blu-ray early next year. Moon will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on January 12, 2010. The DVD will be priced at $27.96 SRP, while the BD will go for $37.95 SRP. The film stars Sam Rockwell, Dominique McElligott, Kaya Scodelario and the voice of Kevin Spacey. Sam Bell (Sam Rockwell) is nearing the completion of his 3-year-long contract with Lunar Industries, mining Earth’s primary source of energy on the dark side of the moon....

While interviewing Bruce Willis in the park for Live Free or Die Hard, the actor was asked if this was going to be the last one. Surprisingly, his answer was, “No.” Willis said to the crowd, “No, I don’t think so. Fox is already talking about doing another one. I told them I would only do it if Lin (Wiseman) was involved. NBC has announced plans for the upcoming Comic-Con International gathering in San Diego running from July 18-21. The Blacklist, Hannibal, Grimm, Revolution and Community will headline at Comic-Con, along with NBC talent from Saturday Night Live, Late Night with Seth Meyers and Ironside also participating on various panels. In this age of everyone having on streaming service, it’s no surprise when a company decides that they’re going to have their shows streaming only on their own service. Such is the case with NBC, which has announced that, starting this fall, next day streaming of most of their Primetime programming will only be available on their Peacock network, per What’s On Disney Plus. Prior to this next day streaming had been available on Hulu, but that will no longer be the case....

There once was a woman who instilled fear in the hearts of the most powerful men in D.C. from the president on down and her name was Martha Mitchell. Those who were not familiar with the “Mouth of the South,” may have gotten some terrific insight as to who the woman was via Julia Roberts’ portrayal of her in Starz Gaslight. Since there is so little revealed about Game of Thrones before each season begins, each piece of footage is crucial to fans. Last month, the new Game of Thrones Season 7 trailer was dissected to the point that a new fan theory emerged, claiming that the placement of certain characters could hint at one of their death’s in this highly-anticipated run. Despite the fact that, according to earlier reports, Jack Nicholson was “furious” about not being offered the role of the Joker in The Dark Knight, the actor wishes that he had been able to discuss the character with Heath Ledger, especially in light of the actor’s untimely death. Nicholson spoke to MTV about what he wishes he had been able to say to the young Australian actor: MTV: When we spoke last, we talked about Batman, but it was before this tragedy with Heath Ledger....

Producer of the 94th Annual Academy Awards, Will Packer, has now spoken out in support of Will Smith following the actor’s recent apology for hitting comedian Chris Rock during the event. Smith has now been banned from attending the Oscars for the next decade, but speaking with ET, Packer praised the actor for his transparency before adding “I’m pulling for him.” Packer referred to Smith’s long-standing position in the industry before stating that he felt the version of Will Smith who slapped Chris Rock is not the same Will Smith that audiences have enjoyed on screen for more than thirty years....

An alien-hunter movie of the ’80s, Predator, has long been identified as a classic. A film recognized as defining the ’80s and filled with enough action and Arnold Schwarzenegger to propel the movie into its own franchise, Predator has had numerous sequels since the release of the first movie in 1987. Sequels to the movie include Predator 2 (1990), Predators (2010), and The Predator (2018). While the long-standing success of Predator has ensured many sequels, a prequel has never been in the works till now....

Netflix’s The Punisher just announced the castings of Josh Stewart (Shooter), Floriana Lima (Supergirl), and Giorgia Whigham (Scream) while confirming that Ben Barnes will return as Billy Russo, aka Jigsaw. The Punisher wasn’t a surprise hit, but it was surprising how big of a hit it was and a second season was announced by Netflix and Marvel within weeks of the premiere. According to a new report, production is set to begin in the next few weeks in New York City....

We all know that Loki (Tom Hiddleston) is the main villain of Marvel’s The Avengers. But this Joss Whedon directed ensemble is rumored to have a second villain that has, until now, been kept a tightly guarded secret. NECA’s HeroClix is set to release their Marvel’s the Avengers line in 2012, and a product description sent to retailers seemingly gives away the identity of the film’s top secret villain. If we are to believe this toy description, Captain America: The First Avenger foe Red Skull (Hugo Weaving) will be the one helping Loki to destroy our team of superheroes this summer....

The next upcoming season of a popular HBO comedy will feature yet another celebrity guest appearance in its new season. Variety is reporting that HBO has confirmed Ricky Gervais will guest star in the next season of Curb Your Enthusiasm. It was said that Gervais will appear as himself in the eighth episode of the eighth season, but he wouldn’t divulge any story details about the episode. The comedian did say it was, “an honor” to be a part of the series....
