It tells the story of twin girls separated at birth when their parents get a divorce. Eleven years later, they just happen to reunite at summer camp wherein they switch identities, unbeknownst to the parents....

Don’t get your panties in a bunch, Kenny Rogers fans! Director Martin Scorsese and writer William Monahan are remaking The Gambler. But rest assured, it’s the 1974 drama from director Karel Reisz that starred James Caan as an English professor with a gambling problem. Not a reimagining of the great bearded one’s time spent in the old west. Leonardo DiCaprio is wanted for the lead role in this new version of The Gambler, though no deal is in place yet....

Sony Pictures invites you to meet Matilda in the first trailer for Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical. Starring Emma Thompson as Miss Trunchbull, Lashana Lynch as Miss Honey, and Alisha Weir as the titular Matilda, Matilda The Musical is set for release on Netflix in December this year (perfect for the holiday season) with the trailer coming courtesy of Sony Pictures Releasing. Hollywood veteran Mickey Rourke continues to take shots at other celebrities, with Amber Heard becoming his latest target. Vampire Batman meets The Matrix in a rote and predictable anti-hero blockbuster. Morbius has a brilliant doctor with a crippling blood disease injecting himself with Chiroptera DNA. The film looks and sounds like a retread of special effects classics. If only the filmmakers had copied the quality of those scripts. The film’s talented lead actors go through the motions of a textbook plot. Morbius has serviceable action but zero surprises....

Resident Evil’s residency at Netflix has come to an end after just one season despite writer Andrew Dabb seeming to be confident that the series would continue and even teasing characters and storylines that would be explored in season two. Although the new series based on the popular survival horror video game franchise was one of the best-rated adaptations in the Resident Evil franchise, the show still didn’t create the kind of buzz that would have convinced Netflix to take a punt on another season and will not be returning for a second season according to Deadline....
