Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings star Simu Liu has revealed that he knows absolutely nothing about the potential sequel and that it’s fellow Marvel stars Tom Holland and Mark Ruffalo’s fault. Both Holland and Ruffalo have become infamous over the years for their inability to keep secrets and their penchant for dropping spoilers wherever possible, and according to Simu Liu, this has led to the studio keeping things from the actors of the very movies they are due to lead....

The two leads in the new USA Network series talk about their new series. Mary McCormack and Frederick Weller are delving into the world of the U.S. Marshalls in the new series In Plain Sight, which premieres on June 1 at 10 PM ET on the USA Network. I was recently in on a conference call with the two stars of the show and here’s what they had to say about this brand new series....

Regardless of how you feel about the Marvel Cinematic Universe, one thing that’s generally agreed upon is the great casting decisions that fill the movies. Viewers fell in love with Milo Ventimiglia’s This Is Us character, Jack Pearson. Through flashback, audiences witnessed Jack’s devotion to his wife and children before his devastating death. Less than a year after the series’ final episode, Ventimiglia is making his return to the small screen for the crime drama The Company You Keep as con man Charlie Nicoletti. A con man seems worlds away from beloved Jack, but Ventimiglia insists there is some common ground between the two....

As previously announced, Record Collection will release the original soundtrack to Spider-Man 3, one of the most anticipated album and film events of the summer. Featuring all new, exclusive music, the album is scheduled for release on May 1, 2007, and is already garnering huge attention due in part to tremendous radio visibility from the first single “Signal Fire,” by Glasgow-based stars SNOW PATROL. Back in February 2018, Netflix snatched up the rights to the upcoming animated series based on the best-selling The Last Kids on Earth books by Max Brallier. And today we have word on just which Hollywood heavy hitters will be lending their voices to the new kid-zombie comedy. The voice cast includes the talents of Mark Hamill (Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi, Batman: The Killing Joke), Rosario Dawson (Zombieland: Double Tap, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For), and Bruce Campbell (Ash vs Evil Dead, Burn Notice) among others....

Nicolas Cage and vampires! If those two concepts mashed together sound exciting to you, then you’ll want to keep an ear out for this! The Cage himself is set to play the one and only Dracula in a horror-comedy film titled Renfield, and it’s slated for an April 2023 release! The film will primarily focus on the titular character played by Nicholas Hoult (X:Men: Dark Phoenix). In the original novel, Renfield grows an obsession with Dracula and begins feasting on animals....

Beloved Hollywood star Patrick Swazye, who tragically passed away in 2009 of pancreatic cancer, was a man of many talents. Not only a successful actor, Swayze was also an esteemed dancer and choreographer, as well as a singer and songwriter. At age 20, Swayze, whose mother was a dance instructor, relocated from Texas to NYC, where he was classically trained at the prestigious Joffrey Ballet school. Paul Bettany and Jennifer Connelly will step into evolution for their next project. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the real married couple have signed on to play Charles Darwin and his wife, Emma, in Creation. The Darwin biopic will show Darwin as a conflicted man struggling to keep a balance between his devoutly-religous wife and his own beliefs that God doesn’t exist in our world. Jon Amiel is directing from a script by John Collee, based off the book, “Annie’s Box” by Randall Keynes, the great-great grandson of Darwin himself....

Peacock is turning Richelle Mead’s Vampire Academy books into a television series. Julie Plec, known for The Vampire Diaries and its spin-offs, is the showrunner, bringing the world of Rose Hathaway (Sisi Stringer) and Lissa Dragomir (Daniele Nieves) and their time at St. Vladimir’s Academy to life. Plec initially expressed interest in creating the series in 2015. Some scenes from the show were included in Peacock’s 2022 programming preview, confirming fans can expect the series to be released this year....

There is often a lot of talk about “twin films,” which are movies with essentially the same concept that are produced by different studios, released around the same time, and then pitted against each other to see which comes out on top. Some of the most famous examples of this are Antz vs A Bug’s Life, The Prestige vs The Illusionist and Deep Impact vs Armageddon.
