Paper Girls is Sure to Draw Comparisons to Netflix Series Stranger Things
Prime Video
Beginning in 2015, Paper Girls was published by Image Comics and received widespread acclaim from critics throughout its run, which ended in 2019 after 30 issues. Featuring a cast of adolescent characters who find themselves at the center of a science fiction mystery, Paper Girls is sure to quickly draw comparisons with the hugely successful Netflix show, Stranger Things.
Full to the brim with mind-bending mysteries, alternate realities, and gang camaraderie, the similarities between Paper Girls and Stranger Things are obvious and no doubt Prime Video is hoping to match the same level of success with this comic book adaptation. Certainly, all of the ingredients are there for Paper Girls to lure in the same fanbase who flock to Stranger Things.
