Back in March 2022, Netflix released a miniseries called Pieces of Her, which followed one woman’s tragic past that has finally come back to haunt her and her daughter. The series stars brilliant actress Toni Collette in yet another great role where she plays the strong Laura Oliver. When she and her daughter Andy, played by Bella Heathcote, find themselves in the middle of a shooting at a restaurant, Laura’s face is put on the news after she stopped the shooter. However, she has, in fact, been in hiding since she was a teenager. This kick-starts a chain reaction that puts both her and her daughter’s lives in danger.

Laura fears her ex-lover, Nick, has been looking for her since she escaped him years ago. The younger version of Nick is played by Joe Dempsie, who is best known for his role as Gendry in the HBO show, Game of Thrones. For the record, Gendry is one of the characters who would have made a better king than Bran thanks to his loyalty and drive. These characteristics couldn’t be any more different from his villainous role as Nick in Pieces of Her.

While Pieces of Her has not been recognized as one of the best 2022 miniseries so far, it still warrants a watch. The Netflix series was adapted from the best-selling novel of the same name by Karin Slaughter. In an article by Collider, they look at some of the biggest changes from the book to the series. Whether or not these big changes affected the viewer’s opinion of the show, the casting in the series should be enough to entice you to watch. Here is where you have seen the stacked Pieces of Her cast.
