It may not have burned up the box office but it looks like it’s time to enter the Grindhouse again!
In a story from our friends at IGN, it seems like The Weinstein Company is trying to get the most bang out of their buck in terms on how they release the two films in the Grindhouse series. It looks like Death Proof and Planet Terror are going to come out in “two separate, extended and unrated DVDs.”
Death Proof the film from Quentin Tarantino is going to have “over 30 minutes of additional, never-before-seen footage including the maddening ‘missing reel’ (containing the excised lapdance sequence) as well as a black and white segment in the film’s second act.”
Death Proof will come to DVD September 18 and will sell for $29.95.
DVD Features:
Finding Quentin’s Gals
The Guys of Death Proof
Kurt Russell as Stuntman Mike
Introducing Zoe Bell

Robert Rodriguez’ offering, Planet Terror, is going to come “with more footage, deleted scenes, a full commentary and the infamous missing reel.” Planet Terror comes out October 16 and will sell for $29.95.
