The Power Rangers are one of the longest-tenured superteams in television history. The most recent iteration of the team has gone back to the prehistoric power of the dinosaurs. Featuring six teenagers taking on the power of the dinosaurs just as the Rafkonian Knights had done before them, the Power Rangers take on Void Knight and his Sporix Beasts.
Here, we look at every single member of the team, analyzing their abilities, zords, character growth, and how their actions influenced both the team and the legacy of the Rangers. With a couple of Rafkonians and plenty of personality between the six, there are plenty of laughs, tears, and power with these teenagers with attitude.
6 Ollie

Ollie would be one of the first to become a ranger when he and Amelia went into the woods together. After being attacked by creatures, Ollie attempts to protect the duo’s new friend Solon. Solon would return the gesture by gifting the two with their ranger keys, allowing them to transform. Ollie was given the power of the Triceratops and became the Blue Ranger.
Ollie is the logical group, always looking at the scientific side of things and keeping a close eye on statistical anomalies. Ollie brings years of fencing experience, making him one of the better sworders with the Chromafury Sabers. Ollie is the last person to listen to the rest of the team; however, a trait he’s carried through all of his life. Even his former teacher would call him out on his behavior and how he tends to alienate his friends.
5 Amelia
Amelia initially set out to investigate the mysterious statues in the middle of the woods because she believed there was a supernatural explanation. After meeting up with Ollie, who was very skeptical of Amelia’s beliefs, the two are attacked by foot soldiers alongside their new dinosaur friend Solon. Amelia would be gifted the power of the Ankylosaur and become the Pink Ranger.
Amelia’s fascination with the paranormal would come from her parent’s sudden and unexplained disappearance. Being raised by her grandfather, Amelia would eventually grow up and become a news station Buzz Blast member. Amelia would avidly pursue investigative journalism, and her bubbly personality would help the team move forward even through the most challenging times.
4 Zayto
Zayto was one of the original Rafkonian Knights to bear the powers of the Power Rangers. Unfortunately, Zayto’s time as leader of the original team would be plagued by terrible decisions that led to the release of what would become the Ranger’s greatest enemies. When the Sporix Beasts destroyed Zayto’s home world, he would escape, believing every member of his team to have perished, save for his friend Solon.
Wielding the powers of the Tyrannosaurus Rex, Zayto would be the Red Ranger. Awakening from his stasis sleep, Zayto would join Amelia & Ollie as the original trio set to take on the Sporix Beast after Void Knight begins to attack Earth. After recruiting two more rangers and meeting his old friend, Aiyon, Zayto would have his leadership called into question. After owning up to his mistakes and proving that he only seeks redemption, Zayto earns his team’s trust as they battle to protect the Earth.
3 Aiyon
Aiyon is another Rafkonian who had wielded the power of the Power Rangers before the series. Aiyon was initially thought to have died during Rafkon’s final battle, but it would later be revealed that Aiyon had also entered a state of slumber, separated from Zayto. Aiyon had called out the Rafkonian government for creating the Sporix and rushing through the process to use a new weapon in war. Aiyon even attempted to destroy the Sporix to spare Rafkon, but Zayto, blindly following the government’s orders, stopped Aiyon.
Joining the team as the Gold Ranger with the power of the Mosasauras, Aiyon would stand against Zayto, but the two would soon make up after Aiyon took a stab at leading the team himself, where he would learn that it’s challenging to make decisions that affect the group as a whole. While Aiyon has a strong legacy of “sixth rangers” to follow, he keeps a level head and maintains an exuberant personality throughout his tenure with the team.
2 Izzy
Izzy is an outstanding high school athlete, with Buzz Blast requesting Zayto to cover her story for a chance to work for the news company. This exchange would lead Izzy and her stepbrother down the path to becoming Power Rangers. While Izzy and Javi worked exceptionally well together, Izzy would mesh well with the rest of her team. Initially appearing headstrong due to her competitive spirit, Izzy would learn to work as part of a team as well as how to put the needs of others before herself.
Izzy would become the Green Ranger, with the power of the Saber-Toothed Tiger. Upon gaining the power, Izzy would decline the initial apparel to come with the job, ripping off the skirt and declaring it not to be her style. Izzy would also strongly represent the LGBT community by becoming the first openly gay Power Ranger on the small screen. With a well-written story arc featuring her rival turning into her girlfriend and her mother learning to be more accepting of her.
1 Javi
Javi would meet the team while applying for a job at Buzz Blast. Being assigned to research the Nephrite Orb when Void Knight’s minions attacked, Javi would bravely pursue the creatures. Teaming up with his stepsister, Javi would earn his place among the Power Rangers when they unlocked the green and black Dino Keys.
With the power of the Stegosaurus, Javi would become the Black Power Ranger. Javi was one of the most charismatic members of the team, maintaining a free spirit and a love for music despite the pressure from his father to pursue something more realistic. The growth that Javi experiences throughout the series is heartwarming. As is the fact that he is a constant source of support for his stepsister and the rest of the team.
