Once upon a time, Prison Break was all anyone could talk about. Initially rejected by Fox, the show finally gained backing in 2004 and went on for 5 seasons, becoming one of the most popular TV series of the 2000s. Gritty and awe-inspiring, it followed Lincoln Burrows, a man wrongfully imprisoned for a murder he didn’t commit. As he awaits execution, his brother Michael uses his engineering expertise to craft a plan for Lincoln’s escape. Over the show’s run, we dive deep into the conspiracy that got Lincoln arrested, witness multiple escapes, and see our favorite characters endure the greatest hardships of their lives.
MOVIEWEB VIDEO OF THE DAY
Around the start of 2018, longtime fans were elated to hear that Fox was working on the 6th season. Sadly, star Wentworth Miller confirmed in 2020 he would not return for the planned season, which, in turn, led to Dominic Purcell’s exit and an overall cancellation of the show. It’s been a long time since the show first aired, and the talented cast has been up to some pretty incredible things following the series finale! Let’s revisit the cast of Prison Break and see where the stars are today.
Dominic Purcell

After famously portraying Lincoln Burrows throughout the show’s run, Dominic Purcell worked on a variety of films, TV shows, and even a Prison Break video game. Most notably, he guest-starred in multiple CW superhero shows and played in the British-German horror film Blood Red Sky. As of now, he’s involved in the upcoming thriller Die Like Lovers, alongside Bruce Willis.
Wentworth Miller
20th Television
Recognizable for his role as engineer Michael Scofield, Wentworth Miller also spent some time as a recurring character in The CW’s Arrowverse. He plays Leonard Snart/Captain Cold in The Flash, Superhero Fight Club, and Legends of Tomorrow, and he reprised his role for a voiceover cameo in Batwoman. 2019 and 2021 brought Miller to Law & Order: Special Victims Unit as a guest star for two episodes, and his most recent feature film was The Loft in 2014. He’s dabbled in everything from acting and producing to screenwriting and appearing in music videos.
Robin Tunney
First gaining widespread critical acclaim for her portrayal of Veronica Donovan, Robin Tunney continued to make a name for herself as Teresa Lisbon on The Mentalist. You can see her in the 2020 psychological drama Horse Girl and Maya Travis in 2019’s The Fix. We haven’t seen anything from her as of 2022, but we’re still hopeful.
Peter Stormare
John Abruzzi has kept pretty busy since Prison Break ended — after lending his talent to countless TV and film roles, Peter Stormare branched out into voice work for cartoons and video games. He lent his voice to the films Gift of Fire and Cryptozoo in 2021, and he’s working on two more upcoming flicks: Muti and Hard Matter. You can hear Stormare’s impressive vocal range in everything from Castlevania to Destiny and The Elder Scrolls Online.
Amaury Nolasco
After artfully playing Fernando Sucre, Amaury Nolasco volleyed between working in film and television. As of now, he’s working on an upcoming romantic comedy called The Valet, but you can also catch him as Joey in South of Heaven and Frankie Cuevas Sr. In Hightown. He also spent a year as a Rodrigo Suarez, the suave villain of the sitcom Telenovela.
Marshall Allman
Since Prison Break, young L.J. Burrows has grown up a lot! Marshall Allman has focused mostly on television guest appearances, and you can catch him in everything from Sons of Anarchy to iZombie. More recently, he played Jeremy in The Wolf of Snow Hollow, and he’s taken some roles in short films as well as the Quantum Break video game.
Wade Williams
Brad Bellick is another alum who veered into voice work, though he’s also spent a lot of time in various TV shows and films. He portrayed William Rehnquist in Roe v. Wade, and he spent a good portion of his career touring in Broadway shows like Les Misérables and Show Boat. You can find him in Westworld, Mercy Street, and Hitman: Blood Money.
Sarah Wayne Callies
After her time as Sara Tancredi, Sarah Wayne Callies starred in several major shows: The Walking Dead as Lori Grimes, Colony as Katie Bowman and Council of Dads as Robin Perry. She’s spent a lot more time working on television, but she’s also performed in movies like The Show and The Other Side of the Door. She even reprised her role as Lori Grimes in a Robot Chicken special.
Rockmond Dunbar
After retiring the role of Benjamin Miles “C-Note” Franklin for good, Rockmond Dunbar starred in shows like Sons of Anarchy and The Mentalist alongside some of his Prison Break co-stars. He recently appeared in the movie City of Lies, and he also joined the cast in popular shows like The Path, Scorpion and 9-1-1.
Robert Knepper
Theodore “T-Bag” Bagwell wasted no time in furthering his career after Prison Break. Robert Knepper worked on films like Redemption Day and The Retaliators in 2021, and he’s currently working WarHunt and The Moderator as of now. He spent some time on the shows Twin Peaks, Nova Vita and Paper Empire, and we’re still waiting to see him in an upcoming episode of The Pact.
