The hit mobile game PUBG Mobile is getting a new update that brings Billy Butcher and the gang from The Boys into the battlefield to take down dastardly Supes. On Tuesday, it was announced that starting on June 8, fans of The Boys will be able to partake in what’s called a “Supe Spree” event where they can team up with infamous antihero Billy Butcher to build an investigation squad and search for evidence of superhero wrongdoings. A new trailer has been released to tease The Boys content coming to PUBG Mobile, and you can watch the video below.
The update comes as a result of a collaboration between Prime Video, Sony Pictures Consumer Products, and Sony Pictures Television. Starting on June 3, the day The Boys premieres on Prime Video, PUBG Mobile players will be able to grab a number of exclusive collaboration items. That includes the iconic super suits of Homelander (Antony Starr), Starlight (Erin Moriarty), and Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles). Exclusive weapon skins, backpacks, a unique Supes parachute, and more items will also be added.

Then on June 8, the “Supe Spree” event begins, inviting players to join Billy Butcher to take on corrupt Supes. In the game, “a horrifying series of unsolvable murders suddenly grips NYC. The mutilated bodies of Wall Street brokers and their clients begin to appear across the city. The police have no clues and city officials are demanding answers. In order to complete each challenge, players must work with characters from The Boys or their in-game friends to expose the truth. Players will collect evidence, unlock stories and ultimately reveal the superhero behind these heinous attacks to earn Billy Butcher’s Duds. The integration will also feature a series of weekly challenges, providing players with more opportunities to earn additional perks and rewards for a limited time.”

PUBG Mobile and The Boys collaboration content will be available from June 3, 2022, to July 3, 2022, to most players located in North America, South America, and europe. The game is available to download for free on the App Store and Google Play Store.
Billy Butcher Returns to Prime Video on June 3
The news of the game collaboration comes days ahead of The Boys officially returning with season 3. Fans are stoked to see the new episodes as Jensen Ackles will make his debut as Soldier Boy in the season 3 premiere. His casting has generated a lot of excitement and Soldier Boy has been featured in a lot of the show’s promotional materials. Perhaps Homelander will have met his match with the “blast from the past” superhero.
The Boys will debut season 3 on June 3, 2022, on Prime Video.
