Reacher is based on the Jack Reacher book series by Lee Child and was developed for Prime Video by Santora. It follows Jack Reacher, a former U.S. Army policeman who becomes embroiled in a brutal criminal conspiracy, inspired by Child’s 1997 novel Killing Floor. Along with Alan Ritchson in the lead role, the series stars Malcolm Goodwin, Willa Fitzgerald, Chris Webster, Bruce McGill, and Maria Sten.

Reacher breaking through in the No. 1 spot further establishes Prime Video as a part of the conversation in the streaming wars. The top 10 list was dominated overall by Netflix, with Sweet Magnolias, Ozark, and Inventing Anna ranking high with the list also including NCIS, Raising Dion, Cocomelon, and Criminal Minds. Encanto and The Book of Boba Fett were the two titles that cracked the list from Disney+.
