Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery is nearly ready for release, set to arrive in theaters for a week-long sneak preview on Nov. 23 before the Netflix release a month later on Dec. 23. Rian Johnson returned to helm the franchise he created, with Daniel Craig reprising his role as southern detective Benoit Blanc.

Despite the sequel being a week from release, Johnson tells the Los Angeles Times he’s already begun thinking about Knives Out 3. Though he admits he’s only “in the very top soil” of developing the third film, he can’t help but be excited. “Nothing’s as creatively exciting to me right now as figuring out what the third one could be that’s completely different from both Glass Onion and Knives Out.” The first film, Knives Out, was an enormous success. The movie, which featured an ensemble cast, including Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Jamie Lee Curtis, Michael Shannon, and Toni Collette, grossed over $300 million at the box office. Netflix quickly bought the rights for two sequels, though the follow-up, Glass Onion, is receiving the limited theatrical release.

The clever whodunnits require careful planning and intricate writing, in addition to assembling a stellar cast of today’s most prominent Hollywood stars. The first reactions to Glass Onion point to a fantastic sequel, surpassing the previous film in nearly every way. Audiences can decide how they feel for themselves when Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery premieres in theaters on Nov. 23, with a Netflix streaming debut on Dec. 23.
